Bio

Elendë Connor is an interdisciplinary artist who uses her experience as a disabled and chronically ill person to create art pieces that speak to her experience living within a body that is plagued with inflammation, pain, vision loss, and trauma stemming from childhood illness. Elendë uses printmaking, drawing, painting, fibers, and collage to create art pieces that weave together intricate illustrations of bodily phenomenon with visceral images that have been plucked from ephemera from her past. Elendë uses her art as a way to process and document her experiences with the hope that she is able to connect through her work with other people who have faced bodily hardship.
